Notices from Rights Holders
This page explains how rights holders who believe that a Segue Generated Song infringes their copyright or other rights can submit a notice to us.
About This Page
Segue's Generated Songs are songs that we create using AI and provide as our own assets. They are not created with the intention of infringing anyone else's rights. If you suspect that a Generated Song infringes your rights, we accept notices, review their content, and take action.
Information Required for a Notice
So that we can review your notice, please include the following information.
- The name of the rights holder (individual or organization) and contact details
- The Generated Song concerned (the share page URL or the song title)
- The right you believe is being infringed and the grounds for your claim (information identifying the original work, registration information, the URL where it is published, and so on)
- A statement that you are the rights holder or an authorized representative of the rights holder
Please provide contact details at which you can receive our reply. Never send us your password or verification codes.
How We Respond
- After receiving a notice, we promptly suspend the provision of the Generated Song concerned and review the notice.
- If we determine that the song may infringe rights, we delete the Generated Song concerned and make its share page private. A deleted song is automatically removed from the app even if users saved it, and users are notified in the app.
- We will inform the person who submitted the notice of the result of our review.
How to Submit a Notice
Please Note
- If you submit a notice that is not true, you may be held legally liable.
- To report lyrics that do not match a song or inappropriate content, please use the report button (the flag icon) at the top right of the "Song details" screen of the app.
Handling requests and notices
Submit through the dedicated rights holder form below. After receipt, our team prioritizes temporary suspension of the song and review. Submission does not automatically suspend a song. Review results and requests for evidence are provided on your request page.
Identity and company evidence help us verify notices. A government ID is not necessarily a universal legal requirement. If you cannot provide evidence, explain why and offer an alternative in the form. Upload rights evidence and identity / company evidence in separate fields; representatives also provide authority evidence. Mask unnecessary identification numbers and other details.
Questions, bug reports, inappropriate content and lyrics corrections can also be sent through general contact.
